Wildwood’s Alumni Program

Wildwood’s Alumni Program Wildwood’s alumni program began with the graduation of our first class of senior class in June 2004 and continues to grow with each ensuing graduating class. The Alumni website is alive and well and contains information about alumni activities and updates about the program (click on Alumni under Inside Wildwood). The site includes an alumni directory, bulletin board, class notes, and upcoming alumni and school events.

For Elementary Graduates

Each year, Wildwood hosts an Off-to-College reunion for its elementary graduates who are now graduating from high school. Alumni students and parents join Wildwood faculty and staff “from the old days” in the well-known Handprint Courtyard on the elementary campus for an afternoon of good food, old friends, and photo ops. The reunion is typically held on the second Saturday in June.

We want to keep in touch with our alumni students and families. The school newsletter, Our Wildwood, is mailed to the homes of alumni parents until such time as the student has a permanent address. The Alumni News section of Our Wildwood features class notes and stories about alumni. We welcome alumni student and parent contributions that keep us up to date on the life of Wildwood graduates. Alumni and Alumni Parent Giving

Wildwood School continues to enjoy an incredibly strong tradition of giving that most alumni parents and students remember from their time at the school. Our Annual Giving campaign continues to garner 97 to 100% participation from every segment of the current school population. This remarkable record sets Wildwood apart from 95% of independent schools in the country. We are proud of this support and the example set by those parents and former parents who have given so generously to Wildwood.

Thanks to the financial support of the parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends who give back to the school through the Annual Giving, Wildwood thrives and continues to offer one of the most innovative and unique educational programs in the country. There is so much we can do because of your continued generosity: honor our faculty by paying them well, provide professional development opportunities so teachers return to their classrooms with renewed enthusiasm and new ideas, update technology and provide financial aid to ensure the continuation of a richly diverse student body.

We welcome your support of Annual Giving year-round. No gift is too small and Wildwood students benefit daily from your generosity. We thank you for continuing the tradition of giving that began when you were a student or family at the school.
