Financial Aid
Throughout its history, Wildwood School has had a longstanding commitment to providing financial aid to families who otherwise could not afford an independent school education. We currently grant almost two million dollars in financial aid annually, which serves approximately 15% of our student body. These funds are budgeted by the board of trustees to support socio-economic diversity in our community.
In spring 2007, Wildwood created the Hope E. Boyd Endowment Fund, which is dedicated to providing funds for financial aid. Although this fund is off to a good start, it will take more time and more donations before it can significantly increase the school’s financial aid budget. Wildwood looks forward to a day when the endowment will meet the needs of all students who require financial assistance; however demand for financial aid continues to exceed the funds available.
The process for applying for financial aid at Wildwood includes the following:
1. Submitting an admission application.
2. Submitting the financial aid request form (included on admission packet).
3. After receiving a financial aid application packet, follow instructions for applying online and completing other required paperwork.
